Business to Business Accounts (B2B)
All returns for B2B accounts are subject to the following conditions:
- Goods must be examined upon receipt and any damage or discrepancies noted on the carrier’s sheet and notified to Bott Shop immediately.
- The return of goods shall not be accepted unless agreed in writing with the Bott Shop within fourteen (14) days of receiving the goods
- All requests for returns are dealt with on a case-by-case basis
- We can only accept returns of current standard catalogue items
- The return of goods is to be arranged at the buyer’s expense and risk.
- Returned goods must be in perfect reselling condition
- Returns are inspected and credited minus 30% (as a restocking fee).
- Where it is accepted that goods are to be returned and a refund made, Bott Shop will refund to the buyer any part of the price of the goods that Bott Shop has received, provided that the goods:
a. Are in an undamaged, unused and resalable condition in their original, undamaged packaging
b. Are not perishable or, by their nature, cannot be returned
c. Are not made-to-order
d. Have not been personalised or customised to non-standard specifications
Consumer Accounts (B2C)
The Bott Shop operates on a primarily Business-to-Business (B2B) basis. If a buyer’s purchase is intended for personal or domestic use (not in connection with a business), additional rights apply.
- In terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided the goods have not been adapted to meet your specific requirements, for the buyer to change their mind and request a full refund from the Bott Shop provided they give notice to the Bott Shop within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
- All requests for returns are dealt with on a case-by-case basis
- We can only accept returns of current standard catalogue items.
- Following notification of their intent to cancel, the buyer must return the goods in the same condition in which they were received to the Bott Shop within a further fourteen (14) days. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession and if you fail to do so the Bott Shop may have a right to claim compensation.
- Returned goods must be in perfect reselling condition
- Returns are inspected and credited minus 30% (as a restocking fee).
- The return of goods is to be arranged at the buyer’s expense and risk.
- Upon receipt of the returned goods, the Bott Shop will refund the customer within fourteen (14) days. The refund will be of the price paid by you less the amount by which any delivery charges exceed the Bott Shop’s standard delivery charge and will be made by the method by which the buyer paid for the goods unless the Bott Shop agrees otherwise.
International (Applies to both B2C & B2B)
Please be aware that customers returning orders from outside of the UK and Ireland will be liable for any return postage costs. Returns are inspected and credited minus 30% (as a restocking fee).
Do I Need An Account To Place Order?
We encourage online orders through our website, however we know that many companies prefer Purchase Orders. Online orders are securely processed through Opayo (previously SagePay).
First Orders
All first orders (regardless of the sales amount) are on Proforma. Simply send your list of product SKUs and quantities and we will provide you with a Proforma Invoice.
Account
To set up an account with us we will require our New Supplier Form to be completed. Once accepted you will have a 30 day account. All first orders are on Proforma.
Notifying the Bott Shop upon receipt of damaged goods
Should you receive goods which you have identified as being damaged, please get in touch with the Bott Shop immediately upon receipt via email at: sales@bottshop.co.uk.
When contacting us to arrange a return, it would be helpful if you could have the following information to hand:
- Original Purchase Order Number or our Bott Shop Order Number
- Confirmation the goods are still in the original packaging and in perfect resalable condition
- Details and quantities of items you would like to return

No refund shall be provided for BESPOKE orders. All bespoke orders are to be paid in full prior to manufacturing commencing.
